Fabricora (“the App”) is a fabric and crafting organizational tool designed to help users catalog, photograph, and manage their fabric stash.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.

Your privacy is very important to us. Fabricora does not sell personal data and does not track users across apps or websites.
2. Information We Collect
Fabricora is designed to store your data on your device.
Some features optionally use iCloud to sync data across your Apple devices.
The App may collect the following types of information:
2.1 User-Provided Data
When you use the App, you may choose to enter:
Fabric names, descriptions, prices, measurements
Photos of your fabrics
Custom categories, brands, and notes
Visual search data (image feature prints generated on-device)
Collections, favorites, tags
Optional user settings (theme, preferences, limits)
This data is created and controlled by you and stays on your device unless iCloud Sync is enabled.
2.2 iCloud Sync Data (Optional)
If you enable iCloud:
Your fabrics, photos, metadata, and preferences may sync across devices.
Apple stores this data securely under your Apple ID.
We never have access to your iCloud data.
2.3 Device Information
The App collects only minimal device data necessary for functionality:
App version
iOS version
Device type
This information is used only for bug reporting and compatibility.
2.4 Diagnostics (Optional)
If you choose to share crash reports with developers through Apple, Fabricora may receive anonymized diagnostic data:
Crash logs
Performance metrics
Non-identifiable usage information
This data cannot identify you and is controlled by your iOS settings.
3. How We Use Your Information
Fabricora uses your information only to provide the App’s features, including:
Displaying your fabrics and photos
Syncing across your devices (if iCloud enabled)
Performing on-device image analysis (Vision framework)
Saving your preferences and settings
Improving stability and functionality
Fabricora does not:
Track you
Profile you
Sell or share data with advertisers
Use third-party analytics SDKs
Use external servers
4. Data Storage & Security
4.1 On-Device Storage
Your data is stored locally.
Fabric images are stored in the App’s local directory and are private to the app.
4.2 iCloud Storage (Optional)
If enabled, your data is stored securely in your personal iCloud account using CloudKit.
Encrypted in transit
Encrypted at rest
Accessible only by your devices logged into your Apple ID
We do not have access to your iCloud data.
5. Data Sharing
Fabricora does not share any personal information with third parties.
The only entities involved in your data are:
Apple (iCloud sync, in-app purchase processing)
You (sharing data you choose to share)
We do not:
Sell data
Share data for advertising
Track users
Use third-party SDKs (Firebase, Facebook, Google, etc.)
6. In-App Purchases
Fabricora offers a one-time Full Unlock purchase.
Apple processes all payments.
We never receive your credit card or billing information.
Purchase history is stored securely by Apple and restored via App Store.
7. Children’s Privacy
Fabricora is safe for all ages, but not intended for children under 13 without parental guidance.
The App does not collect personal information from children.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your region, you may have the right to:
Access your data
Correct or delete your data
Disable iCloud sync
Export or back up your data
Request deletion by removing the app and its local data
Because Fabricora does not store personal data on external servers, deleting the app deletes your local data.
For iCloud data:
Open Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → iCloud Drive → Fabricora
Use Manage Storage to delete synced data.
9. Data Retention
We retain your data only on your device until you delete it.
If using iCloud:
Apple retains synced data until you delete it from your iCloud account.
Crash logs (optional via Apple) may be retained by Apple per their policies.
10. Third-Party Services
No third-party servers or analytics services are used.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy occasionally.
Updates will be posted on the App Store and/or our website.
Material changes will include a new “Last updated” date.
